A man who shared naked pictures of his ex-girlfriend on fake social media accounts in her name has avoided jail. Mitchell Brindley from Western Australia created numerous Instagram accounts, with one containing 'full nudes' where his girlfriend's breasts and vagina were crudely censored. Brindley, who made the fake accounts after they had broken up, uploaded the intimate pictures without her consent between April 19 and Brindley, 24, is the first person to be charged under the WA's new revenge porn laws, just days after the legislation went into effect. Ironically, Travis, 25, obtained the images of the woman when he helped her to remove them from porn websites, where they had been posted in another act of revenge by a previous boyfriend. He included the naked images which were taken when the woman was just 13 — though Travis claimed he did not know her age at the time the pictures were taken. I am scared that the whole town has seen me naked and think the worst of me. There is nobody worse than him. I no longer think the same, dress the same, wash the same.
